Chef Shelly is back!
We're excited to welcome Chef Shelly Bailey back to Coterie Worklounge! Shelly originally joined CW in 2016 and she returns to us after a stint at Seattle Pacific University.
Shelly is known for switching up the menu so members don’t get bored - last month her tequila lime shrimp fajitas were a big hit. This month, her Cuban sandwich is already a member favorite. She’s always willing to cater to dietary restrictions, so feel free to swing by the kitchen and let her know (but don’t ask for ketchup).

What do you love most about Coterie?
I love the members and the people I work with. The ability to make 90% of the food that comes out of the kitchen from scratch (dressings, sauces, pastries, etc.).
How do you describe your food?
Tainted with good times.
What do you have against ketchup?
I don’t hate it, but it has its time and place and Coterie is not it.
Favorite ingredient to work with?
Garlic because it’s incredibly versatile.
Favorite food to make?
Slow roasting my own meats.
